Canoe & Kayak hire charges

 

£20 per person

 

Paddle downstream from our launch site near Abermule to our designated pickup point near Caerhowell, Montgomery.

(approx 1 1/2 - 2 hours on the river) 

 

Our aim is to ensure that every group, no matter how small, has the river to themselves. We therefore stagger bookings throughout the day.

 

Morning trips from 9.30am

 

Afternoon trips from 1.00 pm

 

Summer Evenings from 6.30pm

Booking is required for all trips

Booking in advance is advisable at weekends and throughout the summer holiday season.

 

 

 

The Canadian Canoes seat 2-4 people. Open top Kayaks are safe and stable to use. 
You will also be provided with a buoyancy aid, paddle, map, dry drum or bag. (helmets also available).

 

We recommend you wear light weight old clothes, layers being best and a light shoe, such as old trainers, sandals or 'croc' type shoes. Bring a spare set of clothes as you just may get wet!!

 

Do not wear boots, wellies or jeans for kayaking or canoeing.

 

There should be time to stop for a picnic or a little swim when the weather is good so come prepared!
